I began my career in education in 2002 after graduating with my B.S. Education from Jacksonville State University. I earned my Master's in Physical Education in 2006 and my Master's in Instructional Leadership in 2014 from Jacksonville State University. I have also coached varsity athletics where I was a Head Football, Athletic Director, Head Baseball, Head Softball, Track and assistant football coaches positions. 

I moved to Mobile in 2015 to begin working in the Education Department at The Bridge, Inc. In 2016, I began teaching and coaching within the Mobile County Public School System at B.C. Rain High School. In 2018, I began teaching at Denton Magnet School of Technology where I teach Physical Education and serve as the Head Football Coach and Head Boys Track Coach.

I have three adult children Danielle, Lexi, and Nathan and a teenage son Kason.
